This G protein-coupled receptor regulates several functionssuch as gastric acid and pancreatic secretion and is found to be expressedin the pancreas and stomach.2 However,GRPR overexpression has been identified in various malignancies, suchas prostate, breast, ovarian, and colon cancer.3−5 Overexpressionof the receptor is more prominent in the earlier stages of prostatecancer and can be observed in lymph node and bone metastases,6 making it a clinically relevant target for cancertheranostics and particularly for oligometastatic prostate cancer. Here, GRPR is linked to prostate cancer.
