Inhibition of glycolysis in NPC cells induced effector activation of T cells, as manifested by significantly increased apoptosis of NPC cells (Fig. 5A), promoted contents of IFN-γ and TNF-α in the coculture system (Fig. 5B), and elevated percentage of perforin+ and granzyme B+ cells (Fig. 5, C and D).
