In confirmation of our results in cancer cell lines, we detected very bright (with a fluorescence intensity exceeding that of Emerin at the NE) Emerin -rich structures (0-0.4315; 25th to 75th percentile: 0.07538–0.1861, median: 0.1280; Supplementary Fig. 1c) with a much greater frequency in PCa tissue than in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) tissue and normal prostate tissue (Fig. 1b). The gene discussed is EMD; the disease is posterior cortical atrophy.
