Et‐40b and Et‐40c were evaluated on a panel of different AML cell lines, including both cells (e.g., OCI‐AML2 and SKM‐1) where the proliferation was dependent on SIRT5 activity, and others (e.g., KG1a and Marimo) where the proliferation was SIRT5‐independent. This evidence concerns the gene SIRT5 and acute myeloid leukemia.
