NMB and cervical carcinoma: The expression of these genes in cervical cancer cells co-cultured with RSC96 cells or DRG were analyzed by qRT-PCR (Fig. S2a, Supporting Information), and we found that NMB mRNA and protein was the most increased in the co-culture system (Fig. 2b, c; Fig. S2b–d, Supporting Information), suggesting that cervical cancer-derived neuropeptide NMB may initiate PNI in cervical cancer.
