In WT cells, Ruxolitinib treatment inhibited the phosphorylation of STAT1 in response to ZIKV infection (Fig. 8D), which blocked the expression of downstream ISGs such as IFIT1, MX1, OASL, and ISG15 (Fig. 8B through D, and data not shown) and increased the abundance of ZIKV RNA to levels similar to ZIKV infection in ATF3 KO cells (Fig. 8A). Here, ISG15 is linked to Zika virus infectious disease.
