In WT cells, Ruxolitinib treatment inhibited the phosphorylation of STAT1 in response to ZIKV infection (Fig. 8D), which blocked the expression of downstream ISGs such as IFIT1, MX1, OASL, and ISG15 (Fig. 8B through D, and data not shown) and increased the abundance of ZIKV RNA to levels similar to ZIKV infection in ATF3 KO cells (Fig. 8A). This evidence concerns the gene STAT1 and Zika virus infectious disease.
