Correlation analysis showed that the relative abundance of Lactobacillus was negatively correlated with serum ALT (R = −0.8571, p = 0.0107), AST (R = −0.9762, p = 0.0004), ALP (R = −0.6691, p = 0.0696), GGT (R = −0.8327, p = 0.0103), and TBIL (R = −0.7619, p = 0.0368) (Figure 7(f)), implicating a beneficial relationship of L. acidophilus with liver function in cholestatic liver disease.
