Only two situations (case 9 with meningoencephalitis and case 10 with rhombencephalitis in graph A) presented a cell count lower higher than the reference value (>4 cells/mm3), and only one (case 14 with encephalitis in graph D) presented a CXCL-10 concentration below the cut-off defined by the ROC curve (<174.7 pg/mL). The gene discussed is CXCL10; the disease is encephalitis.
