HAVCR1 and hantavirus infectious disease: Levels of urinary KIM-1 were elevated in patients with acute hantavirus infections compared to an age- and gender-matched control group (mean ± SD: 4.346 ng/mL ± 2.652 ng/mL versus mean ± SD: 0.337 ng/mL ± 0.215 ng/mL; p < 0.0001) (Figure 1).
