The associations between dietary SPD intake and the risk of all-cause dementia, AD and VD were not modified by age, sex, socioeconomic status, education, alcohol intake, energy, sleep duration, physical activity level, polygenic risk score, number of APOE ε4, hypertension, hypercholesteremia and diabetes (all p for interaction > 0.05) (Figure 3). The gene discussed is APOE; the disease is dementia.
