Oleuropein in a concentration of 100 μM and 500 μM in a dose-dependent manner also suppresses AKT signalling by inhibiting pAkt (Ser473) and Akt (Thr308) in LNcaP and DU145 prostate cancer cell lines and BPH-1 non-malignant cells; however, in the DU145 cells, AKT activity is generally higher.
