In the LCMD group, a negative correlation was observed between the change in carbohydrate (g) consumed and the change in the FLI score (r = −0.52, p = 0.01), and a positive and moderately significant correlation was noted between the change in sucrose (g) and the changes in ALT (r = 0.49, p = 0.02) and AST (r = 0.47, p = 0.01). This evidence concerns the gene GPT and congenital muscular dystrophy due to LMNA mutation.
