In our study, we investigated the role of KSR2 gene variants in a cohort consisting of 240 unrelated pediatric participants with severe early-onset obesity from the population of Qatar recruited from the endocrinology clinic at Sidra Medicine to better understand the significance of KSR2 gene variants in the etiology of obesity and the broader spectrum of metabolic regulation in such an understudied Middle Eastern population. The gene discussed is KSR2; the disease is obesity disorder.
