A 57-year-old female patient with an 8-year history of T2DM, treated with metformin, SGLT2i, and dipeptidyl-peptidase 4 inhibitor, with a history of a panaritium on the third finger of her left hand, complicated by osteitis that required distal phalanx amputation in July 2022.
