Additional proteins with significant upregulated scores (BTF3 [78], SNRPA [79], and NUTF2 [80]), which promote cancer in other types of malignances, also lead to lower survival probability in CLL patients (Figure 5), apart from BTF3 that seems to affect survival only during the initial days of disease development. This evidence concerns the gene BTF3 and B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
