The results showed that COVID-19 patients had significantly higher levels of all three cytokines compared to the control group: IL-6 at 165.85 ng/mL (±20.13) vs. 86.68 ng/mL (±17.30); IL-1β at 52.30 ng/mL (±11.71) vs. 6.30 ng/mL (±6.61); and TNF-α at 179.54 ng/mL (±28.92) vs. 18.50 ng/mL (±4.25) (Figure 6).
