CYP2C19 and chronic kidney disease: A post hoc analysis of the TAILOR-PCI study led by Mathew et al. [141] reported that CYP2C19 genotype-guided escalation of P2Y12 inhibitor therapy showed no reduction in primary outcomes, including CV death, stroke, myocardial infarction, stent thrombosis, and severe recurrent coronary ischemia in CKD, whereas it was more effective in non-CKD patients.
