In the present work, we showed that the AQP4 aggregation into the pathogenic AQP4-tetramer and AQP4-OAPs differently affected the expression profile of KCNMA1, KCNJ11, ABCC8, and ABCC9 genes but not of the KCNJ8 gene in the U87 glioma cell, evaluated by the RTPCR gene expression. This evidence concerns the gene KCNMA1 and glioma.
