KCNJ11 and central nervous system cancer: In the present work, we showed that the AQP4 aggregation into the pathogenic AQP4-tetramer and AQP4-OAPs differently affected the expression profile of KCNMA1, KCNJ11, ABCC8, and ABCC9 genes but not of the KCNJ8 gene in the U87 glioma cell, evaluated by the RTPCR gene expression.
