PNI was explored next (Figure 3D), and our results showed that patients with positive PNI status (n = 78) had a median CCL2 concentration of 0.44 ng/mL (IQR 0.37–0.69) compared to patients without PNI (n = 140) (0.46 ng/mL, IQR 0.36–0.60); therefore, there was no significant difference in CCL2 concentration between cancer of different grades or between PNI-positive or -negative status. The gene discussed is CCL2; the disease is cancer.
