CD4 and dermatitis: Interestingly, upon OVA-induced skin inflammation, we found that NGO-injected mice displayed reduced levels of IL4-producing but not IFNγ-producing populations among splenic CD4+ T cells expressing the clonotypic OVA-specific KJ1-26 TCR compared with PBS-injected controls, indicating that NGO treatment induces a significant reduction in Th2 cells, consequently increasing Th1/Th2 ratios (Figure 1B,C).
