CRP and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease: In both genders, WHtR was a risk factor for CRP (women: standardized β coefficient = 0.19, p < 0.001; men: standardized β coefficient = 0.11, p < 0.001), metabolic syndrome (women: standardized β coefficient = 0.34, p < 0.001; men: standardized β coefficient = 0.36, p < 0.001), and NAFLD (women: standardized β coefficient = 0.36, p < 0.001; men: standardized β coefficient = 0.46, p < 0.001), and was positively associated with HBA1c only in men (standardized β coefficient = 0.11, p < 0.001).
