When we performed the gene ontology (GO) enrichment analysis with the transcripts targeted by IGF2BPs but only modified by m7G, we noticed that the glioma pathway and the terms about cell cycle arrest and p53 pathways were both highlighted (Supplementary Fig. 8a), so as other pathways closely related to p53, implying that IGF2BPs affect p53-related genes, especially in glioma, and this process might go through regulation on m7G-modified transcripts. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and central nervous system cancer.
