Specifically, the risk of developing CRC consistently increased from 9% to 32% in individuals with a BMI greater than 25.0 (>25.0-27.5: AHR, 1.09 [95% CI, 1.03-1.16]; >27.5-30.0: AHR, 1.19 [95% CI, 1.11-1.29]; and >30.0: AHR, 1.32 [95% CI, 1.19-1.46]; P < .001 for trend). This evidence concerns the gene AHR and colorectal carcinoma.
