In the PDGFRβ KO mice D7 after ischemia, vessel densities, number of sprouts, vessel segments and branch points as well as vessel permeability were all increased in the gastrocnemius muscle of PDGFRβ KO mice D7 after ischemia (Fig. 6f–j), demonstrating that PDGFRβ deletion in macrophages results in formation of immature vasculature in the ischemic muscle. Here, PDGFRB is linked to ischemia.
