APOB and atherosclerosis: Similarly, in the progression study, mAb2 did not alter body weight, plasma lipids or blood glucose (Extend Data Fig. 9a–d), but markedly reduced the extent of atherosclerosis in the aorta (Fig. 3a,b), aortic roots and the BCA (Fig. 3c–e) and reduced the accumulation of apoB-containing lipoproteins (Fig. 3f,g), CD68+ macrophages (Fig. 3h,i), plaque necrosis (Fig. 3j,k) and collagen content (Fig. 3l).
