Our data show that a high level of CEP55 increased the CIN rate in OvCa and in breast cancer cells (see Figure 1 and Figure 2), and since CIN can be caused by dysregulation of spindle MT-dynamics [17,41] we speculated that CEP55 may be involved in the regulation of spindle MT-dynamics. The gene discussed is CEP55; the disease is cervical squamous intraepithelial neoplasia.
