XIRP2 and hepatocellular carcinoma: Among these overlapped high-frequency mutation genes, the XIRP2 mutation was found to be significantly associated with poor prognosis in HCC tissues in both the TCGA database (HR = 1.93, 95% CI = 1.09–3.40; Figure 1D) and the ICGC database (HR = 1.90, 95% CI = 1.20–3.01; Figure 1E).
