A total of 33 proteins exhibited significantly different expression levels in cancer patients: 31 proteins displayed increased levels in tumor samples (CAH1, HBD, HBB, LPA, PF4V1, SAA4, APOA1, APOE, HBA1, C1QC, C4BPB, APOC2, VTN, FGA, ORM2, APOB, PROS1, SERPINA3, CLU, APOD, F2, SERPINF2, GPX3, AZGP1, SERPING1, PON1, A2MG, LGALS3BP, AFM, APOA4, and PZP). This evidence concerns the gene APOC2 and cancer.
