We measured ROS production by incubating neutrophils with the cell-permeable probe 2′,7′-dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate (H2DCFDA), which forms the fluorescent byproduct 2′,7′-dichorofluorescein (DCF) when oxidized by ROS, and found that CCL28 stimulation enhanced neutrophil ROS production during STm infection (Figure 5E).
