Firstly, to understand the potential functions and roles of the two types of monocyte subsets in CTEPH patients, we performed GO and KEGG analysis of the transcriptome profiles of peripheral blood CD16+ monocytes and CD14+ monocytes from CTEPH patients to explore the possible biological functions and related signaling pathways of CD16+ monocytes in CTEPH disease. Here, CD14 is linked to chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension.
