A recent study showed that impaired Clec11a-Itga11-Wnt signaling is involved in the pathogenesis of NF1-associated skeletal diseases (72), which not only provides new insights into the molecular pathogenesis of NF1-associated pseudoarthrosis but also reinforces the potential usefulness of Clec11a in bone tumors. This evidence concerns the gene NF1 and bone neoplasm.
