CXCL12 and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis: Our results confirmed previous findings, showing increased C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 12 levels in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis patients compared to healthy control (797.07 ± 31.84 pg/mL versus 316.15 ± 16.6 pg/mL; P = 0.000) and increased CSF neurofilament light chain levels in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (4565.63 ± 263.77 pg/mL) compared to healthy control (847.86 ± 214.37 pg/mL; P = 0.000).
