T-test indicated a significant increase when comparing plasma levels of CXCL12 in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis cases (2022 ± 81.8 pg/mL) to HC cases (1739.43 ± 77.3 pg/mL; P = 0.015; Fig. 2A). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL12 and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
