Flow cytometry analysis confirmed that following corilagin treatment, there was an increase in the proportion of apoptosis in HCC cells, a decrease in the mitochondrial membrane potential ratio, elevation in apoptosis-related proteins such as Cyto c, caspase 8, and TP53, reduction in p-Akt and Bcl-2 protein expression, and cleavage of caspase 3, caspase 9, and PPAR. Here, AKT1 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
