Elevated SEZ6L2 has been observed in adult AD brains38 and contributes to refinement of synaptic connectivity between climbing fibers and Purkinje cells in the cerebellum.39 We also examined ELF1-mediated regulatory networks in mature granule cells and found that target genes of ELF1 were enriched in gene signatures related to longevity regulating pathways (q = 0.008). This evidence concerns the gene ELF1 and Alzheimer disease.
