In multivariate analysis, low plasma levels of ApoH (OR:5.43; 2.21-13.4), high levels of C- reactive protein (OR:2.73: 1.28-5.4), hyperferritinemia (OR:2.83; 1.28-5.4) and smoking (OR:3.41; 1.04-11.16), were significantly associated with a worse prognosis. The gene discussed is CRP; the disease is isolated hyperferritinemia.
