Our findings demonstrate that, compared to conventional anti-rosacea therapies including medication such as metronidazole, clindamycin gels macrolides and antibiotics, surgery, physical therapy such as red and blue light irradiation, and laser therapy, and general treatment, the CHM and standard biomedical treatment combination therapy can afford better overall effective rates and lead to higher reductions in the TCM syndrome and clinical symptom scores, as well as in the scores of DLQI, EI, and IL-37 levels. Here, IL37 is linked to rosacea.
