To address this, we used a series of orthogonal approaches to test the role of NAD(P)+ homeostasis in chemotherapy induced infertility, including treatment with the NAD+ precursor NMN, along with transgenic overexpression of the NAD+ biosynthetic enzymes nicotinamide mononucleotide adenyltransferase 1 and 3 (NMNAT1 and NMNAT3).
