In our study, we found that ICAM-1 knockdown regulated the phosphorylation of SHP-2, Akt, JNK and p38 in NSCLC cells (Fig. 5B, C), suggesting a crosstalk between ICAM-1 and intracellular signaling cascades that orchestrates the lung cancer cell survival signals.
