In contrast, the RNA expression of Eef1b2 (eukaryotic translation elongation factor 1 beta 2; p < 0.0001), Hmgb1 (high mobility group box 1; p < 0.0001), and Hnrnpa1 (heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A1; p = 0.0003) were all significantly upregulated in JL-DCIS-3 relative to JL-Contra-3, and the RNA expression was increased with tumor stage progression. This evidence concerns the gene HNRNPA1 and ductal breast carcinoma in situ.
