Ptprj is a member of the receptor‐type protein tyrosine phosphatase family, has been implicated in various signal pathways, and is known for its anti‐proliferation and anti‐tumor functions.[14] Ptprj dephosphorylates several candidate substrates, including platelet‐derived growth factor receptor (PDGFRβ),[15] hepatocyte growth factor receptor (HGFR),[16] and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR),[17] among others. The gene discussed is MET; the disease is neoplasm.
