TP53 and acute myeloid leukemia: Compared to patients with TP53-WT, patients who have AML with TP53 mutations have shown higher expression levels of IFNG, FOXP3 in blast cells of primary BM samples, immune checkpoints, markers of immune senescence, and phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-Akt and NF-κB signaling intermediates (Vadakekolathu et al., 2020).
