While the list of potential combinations of BCL2 and FLT3 co-inhibition in acute myeloid leukemia tested preclinically expands rapidly, none of these so far has shown improved efficacy in patients with TP53 mutations (Perl, 2019; Brinton et al., 2020; Carter et al., 2021; Zhu et al., 2021; Carter et al., 2023b; Popescu et al., 2023). Here, TP53 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
