DPYD and familial pancreatic carcinoma: Previous animal experiments have reported the anticancer effects of Lut in lung, colorectal, liver, ovarian, prostate, bladder and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis‐related liver cancers3, 4, 5, 6, 7 In the previous study, we had also reported that Lut decreases dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase (DPYD) and phospoho‐STAT3 expression in pancreatic cancer cells as one of its mechanisms of activity.8
