Although limited in number, the inclusion of less common psoriatic subtypes in the dataset has shown that inverse psoriasis, which can phenotypically resemble eczema or intertrigo, exhibited some of the highest levels of elafin and IL‐36γ measured indicating these markers may be particularly effective confirming the diagnosis of inverse psoriasis and thus represent useful tests in the clinic. This evidence concerns the gene IL36G and Eczematoid dermatitis.
