Of the 31 cancers studied, HS2ST1 expression levels in tumor tissues were higher (compared with normal tissue) in patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBC), esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), rectal adenocarcinoma (READ), skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), and thymoma (THYM). This evidence concerns the gene HS2ST1 and cutaneous melanoma.
