The PACMAN-AMI (Effects of the PCSK9 Antibody Alirocumab on Coronary Atherosclerosis in Patients With Acute Myocardial Infarction) was designed with the primary hypothesis that early treatment with alirocumab would lead to a greater reduction in mean PAV in non-infarct-related arteries among patients undergoing PCI. This evidence concerns the gene PCSK9 and coronary atherosclerosis.
