Our results showed that curcumin increased ATG5, ATG7, Beclin 1, and LC3B protein levels but decreased phosphorylated (p)-PI3K, p-AKT, and p-mTOR levels in GC cells, indicating that curcumin-induced autophagy but inhibited PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling. Here, MAP1LC3B is linked to gastric cancer.
