Further analysis of AKI associated with the concomitant use of PCSK9 inhibitors with cephalosporins, furosemide, torsemide, pantoprazole, omeprazole, and esomeprazole revealed ROR and 95% CI of 0.38 (0.23–0.62), 0.38 (0.31–0.48), 0.18 (0.08–0.38), 0.23 (0.17–0.29), 0.20 (0.16–0.26), and 0.14 (0.10–0.20) respectively. The gene discussed is PCSK9; the disease is acute kidney injury.
