FCGR3A and COVID-19: Among D614G-infected patients, the level of interaction with FcγRIIa and FcγRIIIa was 6- and 5-fold higher in sera of hospitalized compared to non-hospitalized patients, respectively (Mann-Whitney U test with Benjamini-Hochberg correction, q = 0.0003 and q = 0.0028, respectively), suggesting an association between COVID-19 disease severity and the level of FcγRIIa and FcγRIIIa interaction.
