TBI was more common in male (116 [48.9%]) than female participants (107 [28.2%]) (OR, 2.45; 95% CI, 1.74-3.43), but did not differ by age, education, APOE4, hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, diabetes, alcohol intake or CVD risk score (Table 1). The gene discussed is APOE; the disease is hypertensive disorder.
