Viral infection experiments in cells overexpressing TRIM5 revealed that RIG-I, IRF3, and IRF7 were expressed at concentrations ranging from 2 to 4 μg (P < 0.01); MAVS was expressed at 2 (P < 0.05), 3, and 4 μg (P < 0.01); TAK1 was expressed at 3 and 4 μg (P < 0.05); IFN-α was expressed at 2, 3 (P < 0.05), and 4 μg (P < 0.01); IFN-β was expressed at 2 (P < 0.05), 3, and 4 μg (P < 0.01); IL-1β was expressed at 2, 3 (P < 0.05), and 4 μg (P < 0.01); IL-6 was expressed at 2 (P < 0.05), 3, and 4 μg (P < 0.01); and IL-18 was expressed at 2 (P < 0.05), 3, and 4 μg (P < 0.01) (Figure 6B and C). This evidence concerns the gene TRIM5 and viral infectious disease.
